Constructed Social Media Post

Open a blank document somewhere.  This can be on Google Drive, on your computer, or anywhere else where you save important files.  Construct a social media post.  You don’t have to actually post it online, but you can if you really want to.  The main thing is just that you write your thoughts down somewhere and save them for later.  So that you can look at these thoughts again when you complete this course.

Your post should include the following components:

  • Explain to your followers why you post the things that you do.  What is your current governing framework for your social media posts.
  • Discuss any anxiety, stress, or worries that you may experience surrounding different types of posts.  Talk about why you think you experience those emotions.
  • Discuss what values you see in effective use of social media.
  • Discuss any drawbacks that you see in the ineffective use of social media.
  • Consider discussing your personal rules for engaging in debate, humble bragging, taking a stand, and responding to the posts of others.
